New Girls x Heroine Series Police x Heroine Lovepatrina! Announced

Police x Heroine Lovepatrina!, the newest show in the Girls x Heroine! franchise, to feature police motif.

Takara Tomy has unveiled the latest show in their Girls x Heroine! franchise entitled Police x Heroine Lovepatrina! The new show stars Miyu Watanabe (Lovepat Pink), Rina Yamaguchi (Lovepat Purple), and Yui Yamashita (Lovepat Blue) as the members of Lovepatrina, a group of young girls who protect the love of the world from the evil Warupyoco Troupe. With the help of the fluffy and cute Lovepyoko and Director Loveji, the Lovepatrina must protect everyone’s love by making a “Love Arrest”. Keiji Kuroki of Japanese pop group Exile will play Director Loveji and actress Sayaka Isoyama (Gransazer, Tensou Sentai Goseiger: Epic on the Movie) will play the mother of Lovepat Pink.

The trio will transform via a device called the Lovepat Shuffle and protect love using the Lovepat Wing, both of which utilize collectible cards similar to the Kamen Rider Ganbarzing card game. The DX Lovepat Shuffle will go on sale in July and retail for 5980 yen. Additionally, it was announced that the main cast of Secret x Heroine Phantomirage will also appear in the show. Director Takashi Miike will helm the series as well as oversee the music of the show.

Miike has helmed each of the prior three series in the franchise, Idol x Warrior Miracle Tunes, Magical x Heroine Magimajo Pures! and the currently airing Secret x Heroine Phantomirage. Miike is no stranger to tokusatsu with a long career as a director of such films as Zebraman, Blade of the Immortal, as well as episodes of Ultraman Max and Keitai Soukusan 7.

Police x Heroine Lovepatrina! will broadcast on Sundays at 9 am on TV Tokyo although no specific start date has been announced. You can check out the trailer for the show below!
