The reviews and opinions of articles and posts published on the Tokusatsu Network LLC, unless otherwise noted, are written from review copies provided by publishers and other production companies.
The values for these review copies range from $0 USD (such as electronically provided copies of upcoming comic issues) to approximately $60 USD (such as DVD sets).
Review copies, if not kept afterward for personal use, are given free to readers of the Tokusatsu Network LLC as raffle prizes or donated to non-profit organizations, such as local libraries.
We will note in our reviews if a series or titles have been reviewed from personal purchases or borrowed from a local library.
Tokusatsu Network LLC is monetarily supported in multiple ways:
- We are directly sponsored by monthly donations from our audience members via Patreon.
- We take direct sponsorship from businesses who pay a monthly fee to place an ad on our site and sponsor a podcast, video, and/or an article.
- The Tokusatsu Network LLC also receives a small compensation when readers purchase items using the Amazon links within articles and/or the store banner on the right-hand navigation.
- We are also monetarily supported through ad services such as Google Adsense.
In order to avoid any appearance of impropriety, the Tokusatsu Network LLC will disclose if one of our staff members is personally acquainted with a creator, editor, or other personnel when providing a review of a series or title.
Furthermore, all members of the Tokusatsu Network LLC do not review materials by family or friends nor do we receive any personal gifts or monetary compensation from companies in exchange for reviewing their merchandise.
