Tokusatsu Actors Lead in “Who Do I Want As My Brother?” Survey

Poll asks about the ideal brother brings in lots of tokusatsu actors.

One hundred women in Japan were surveyed by Voice Note asking which male ikemen (meaning “cool guy”) celebrity they would like to be their brother. The results gathered from the pool of answers has been announced and you may notice there is a trend of various tokusatsu actors.

Two main Kamen Rider actors ranked very well in the poll. The first is Ryouma Takeuchi, known as Shinnosuke Tomari aka Kamen Rider Drive, which comes as no surprise. Those who chose him mentioned they saw him as “tall and cool” and loved his bright smile. Takeuchi previously topped a poll in Japan listing him as the celebrity with the most ideal physique. The other is Fukushi Sota, who portrayed Gentaro Kisaragi aka Kamen Rider Fourze, with the populace finding him “cute, without being rebellious”.

In second place was a tie for two leading Kamen Riders: Takeru Sato, known as Ryotaro Nogami aka Kamen Rider Den-O, and Masaki Suda, known as Philip aka Cyclone half of Kamen Rider W. Japanese women claimed that Sato was more suited to the “cool” brother role, while Suda seemed like the type you would find fun to spend time with.

At the number one spot was Yudai Chiba, who portrayed Alata aka GoseiRed in Tensou Sentai Goseiger. The voters considered everything about him to be cute, which led to his victory in the survey.

Both on-screen actors, as well as voice actors, were considered for this poll.
