DA PUMP’s leader singer, ISSA, most recently took part in singing for Kamen Rider ZI-O‘s opening theme “Over “Quartzer””. Kamen Rider W‘s Masaki Suda also won a GQ Men of the Year award in 2016.
In a statement, Takeuchi stated he was looking forward to shooting the photos for the cover. He looked forward to the opportunity of wearing cool clothing and hairstyles that were new to him.
During 2018, Takeuchi recently placed high in a poll about being the ideal brother, and was named no.1 in a poll of ideal male physique in Japan. He was also nominated in the 72nd Mainichi Film Awards for Best New Actor, and won the 41st Japan Academy Prize and 42nd Elan d’or Awards for Newcomer of the Year.
