Japanese Stars React to Recent Kamen Rider Actor Arrests

Shinobu Sakagami, actor and regular panelist on the TV variety show Viking, commented on the recent string of actors related to the Kamen Rider series being arrested.

The 50 year old actor made the comments after news broke of Kamen Rider Hibiki and 555 actor Toshinobu Matsuo being arrested on drug charges. This also follows the news of Tsunenori Aoki being arrested twice for indecently grabbing two women while intoxicated.

“You need to be aware that while on Kamen Rider, you are on a drama series targeting children,” said Sakagami. Fellow panelist You (Yukiko Ehara) also commented that “Kamen Rider is a gateway for actors, they forget this after graduating and become just another handsome guy,”.
