TV Asahi have released a trailer for the upcoming Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is a “drama centered on patients” that follows Emu Hosho, otherwise known as M, a new pediatrician at Seito University Hospital. As M, he is an unstoppable genius gamer, as a doctor, he is considered a kind hearted but mistake prone loser. Emu is given the power to become Kamen Rider Ex-Aid by the mysterious Asuna Karino. Using his new powers, Emu fights the invading digital game virus monsters, the Bugstars. The enemy have the ability to infect humans from within, necessitating the use of the super deformed Level 1 forms before battling them in the real world with the more traditional appearing Level 2 forms.

Other characters mentioned are the super elite Hiiro Kagami, who never makes mistakes and becomes Kamen Rider Brave. Taiga Hanaya, a former doctor stripped of his license who becomes Kamen Rider Snipe. Dan Kuroto, who created the doctor Rider system at the Genmu Corporation and Kiriya Kujo, a rambling man studying various illnesses.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid begins October 2nd and is written by Lupin III Part 4’s Yuya Takahashi, directed by Shojiro Nakazawa (Shinkenger, Kamen Rider Wizard, Zyuohger) and produced by Motoi Sasaki (Kamen Rider Ghost) with Takahito Omori. (Kamen Rider Drive, Kyoryuger)
