Shin Ultraman Retsuden, an Ultraman program that reruns various “greatest hit” episodes from the franchise’s 50 year history will be moving to Saturday mornings at 9 AM beginning April 2nd.

Shin Ultraman Retsuden began as Ultraman Retsuden in 2011, intended to run 39 episodes before eventually concluding with 104 episodes. The series continued with Shin Ultraman Retsuden, which has featured the premiere of various Ultraman movies as well as the Ultraman Ginga, Ginga S, and Ultraman X TV series from recent years. Shin Ultraman Retsuden currently consists of 142 episodes.

Ultraman Retsuden previously ran on Wednesdays at 6:30, Wednesdays at 5:00, and then Tuesdays at 6:00 on TV Tokyo.  The series will air in a block including Lego Ninjago, a Yokai Watch rerun slot, and Fairy Tail Zero.

It was previously announced that a new Ultraman series would begin airing in July to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the original Ultraman TV series.
