Kamen Rider Build’s Eiji Akaso Tests Positive for COVID-19

On January 24, Tristone Entertainment announced that Eiji Akaso of Kamen Rider Build had tested positive for COVID-19.


Eiji Akaso, known for his roles as Banjou Ryuga from Kamen Rider Build and Richi Kido in Hey Teacher, Don’t You Know? is confirmed to have COVID-19 after receiving a positive PCR test. Akaso’s infection was announced by his agency Tristone Entertainment a day after he came down with a fever. Akaso is currently receiving medical care from his home. 

Tristone Entertainment published a formal apology to any staff, co-stars and everyone involved with Akaso for any inconveniences that the infection may have caused. The agency says that it is currently working to limit the potential spread within their company. Tristone has not announced any delays to projects Akaso was working on.
