S.H. Figuarts King Joe Storage Custom Announced

Premium Bandai revealed the newest release in theS.H. Figuarts Ultra Series figure line, the S.H. Figuarts King Joe Storage Custom figure from Ultraman Z

King Joe Storage Custom was the third anti-kaiju robot built by STORAGE. As the name suggests, it is a custom of the original King Joe, originally owned by Alien Barossa. When King Joe was defeated by Ultraman Z, the remaining wreckage was taken in by STORAGE and reconstructed into King Joe Storage Custom. This robot was piloted by STORAGE’s ace pilot, Yoko Nakashima.

The figure measures at 160mm tall, taller than other in the Ultra figure line which averages around 150mm. It comes with an alternate left arm. The alternate arm comes with moveable parts to recreate one of its attacks, the “Pendamnium Hammer”. Clear parts are used for the head and chest, with visible internal mechanical structuring. Although it may have a very solid robot structure, it has a range of motions comparable to humanoid S.H. Figuarts.

Like other S.H. Figuarts Ultra Series figures, it is developed with the help of Tsuburaya’s official molding team, LSS (Light Sculpture Studio). This figure is compatible with the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Z figure and S.H. Figuarts Sevenger figure (sold separately). This is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive.

The S.H. Figuarts King Joe Storage Custom figure from Ultraman Z will go for 8,580 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in March 2022. Preorders start September 6th, 2021, at 16:00 JST.
