Ultimate Article Ultraman (TYPE-C) Statue Announced

Premium Bandai announced he latest installment in the Ultimate Article statue line, the Ultimate Article Ultraman (TYPE-C) statue from the original Ultraman (1966). 

Celebrate the 55th anniversary of Ultraman! Ultraman (Type-C) is finally available in the Ultimate Article series, which features a powerful 40 cm scale statue with realistic details and an electronic gimmick. Under the supervision of Tsuburaya Productions LSS (Light Sculpture Studio), the figure has been sculpted based on existing C-type materials, including the diamond-cut mold for the eyes, slightly asymmetrical eyes, ears, and mouth, as well as the original C-type figure. Even the details of the suit, which are often omitted, have been thoroughly reproduced based on research.

The figure is also equipped with a light and sound gimmick to create a sense of realism. When the switch is turned on, both eyes and the color timer (blue) emit a “flash beam” transformation sound.  After that, the familiar background music from the battle scenes (Fierce Battle! Ultraman) will play for about 90 seconds.

Furthermore, by switching to ON2, the color timer (blinking red) and the timer sound will be activated for about 20 seconds, and then the special move “Spesium Ray” will be performed. The optional arm can be replaced to pose him in a variety of different poses, including his impressive fighting pose and the iconic “Spesium Ray” pose. Two types of stickers for the pedestal (one with the Ultraman logo, the other with the Ultraman signature logo) are included. The supreme ‘First Generation’ Ultraman, with all of his charm, is condensed into one figure, complete with light, sound, and his famous BGM. Please enjoy its brave figure at hand.

The set includes: Main body (finished product painted), Dedicated pedestal, Pillar arm parts, Interchangeable arm parts (left and right), Stickers for the pedestal (2 types), Instruction manual, Built-in LED light gimmick (both eyes, color timer (blue: light / red: flashing)), Built-in sound gimmick (transformation sound, BGM about 90 seconds (M5 fierce battle! Ultraman), and the Color Timer blinking sound, Spesium ray sound). It requires 3 AAA dry cell batteries (sold separately). Everything is made of PVC and ABS.

The Ultimate Article Ultraman (TYPE-C) statue from the original Ultraman (1966) will go for 30,800 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in November 2021.
