TOKU HD Adds Kamen Rider 555
The 2003 series Kamen Rider 555 is available now via TOKU HD
After adding 2001’s Kamen Rider Agito to their library back in November of last year, TOKU HD has now added the 2003 series Kamen Rider 555 (pronounced Faiz) to their roster. Currently only the first 10 episodes of its 50 episode run are available to watch now via their website. The story of Kamen Rider 555 revolves around the Smart Brain Corporation and its attempts to take over the world using the zombie-like Orphnoch. One of the Rider Gears the company develops falls into the hands of loner Takumi Inui who uses it to stop them from achieving their goal as Kamen Rider Faiz.
This marks the third Kamen Rider series to be brought to North America this month after TokuSHOUTSU’s recent announcement of their acquisition of 2002’s Kamen Rider Ryuki and 2019’s Kamen Rider Zero-One.

Why are they alternating Kamen Rider series back and forth between Toku HD and Shoutfactory? Kuuga on Shout; Agito on THD; Ryuki on Shout; 555 on THD. It’s really weird and confusing. No matter which one you go with, you can’t get all the series in a row, you have to bounce back and forth.
It doesn’t help that Toku HD’s subtitles seem to consistently be way worse than Shoutfactory’s, from what I’ve seen.
