New Form “Next Kaixa” Revealed for Kamen Rider Faiz 20th V-Cinext

Kamen Rider Kaixa’s “Next Kaixa” form has been revealed for the upcoming Kamen Rider 555: Paradise Regained V-Cinext.

On September 13, dubbed “Kaixa Day” (after Kamen Rider Kaixa’s transformation code 913), a new form was revealed for Kamen Rider Kaixa. In the upcoming Kamen Rider 555: Paradise Regained V-Cinext, Masato Kusaka / Kamen Rider Kaixa will transform into “Next Kaixa”.

In May of 2023, it was announced that Murakami, along with his Kamen Rider 555 costars Kento Handa (Takumi Inui / Kamen Rider Faiz), Yuria Haga (Mari Sonoda), and Mitsuru Karahashi (Naoya Kaido / Snake Orphenoch) will also reprise their roles in the upcoming V-Cinext, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of Kamen Rider 555.

Additionally, Kohei Murakami announced via his social media that there will be a Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club spin-off of Paradise Regained. Titled Kamen Rider 555: Murder Case, this special will feature Murakami reprising his role as Masato Kusaka. Directed by Ryuta Tasaki and written by Toshiki Inoue, this spin-off revolves around Kusaka looking to solve a murder case. The suspects are Takumi Inui (played by Kento Handa) and Mari Sonoda (played by Yuria Haga). Before the special becomes available to view, videos providing details of the case will be uploaded to the Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official  (TTYO) channel for viewers to make their own deductions about who the murderer is.

Kamen Rider 555: Paradise Regained is scheduled to have a limited theatrical run in 2024. The V-Cinext is written by Toshiki Inoue who served as the head writer for Kamen Rider 555 as well as Avataro Sentai Donbrothers and Chojin Sentai Jetman. The director is Ryuta Tasaki who served as a director for Kamen Rider 555 and various other tokusatsu projects. Additionally, an abridged version of the film will be viewable on the TTYO and TV-Asahi Superhero Time channels. The full film will be available to stream from TTFC.
