Shota Matsushima Appears In Apex Legends Commercial

After starting a streaming channel, Kamen Rider Drive‘s Shota Matsushima is in a new commercial for the hit video game, Apex Legends, to promote its release on Nintendo Switch.

The popular multiplayer shooting game, Apex Legends, launches today on Nintendo Switch, and Shota Matsushima (Brain in Kamen Rider Drive) appears in a new commercial to promote its release. The new commercial aired just days after Matsushima started a new streaming channel on OPENREC.tv.

According to Matsushima in the below comment, he has been a fan of first-person shooting games for many years. In the commercial, he appears with Kento Kaku and Airi Matsui from his office.

“I am Shota Matsushima, and I have started a channel with OPENREC.

I love gaming, especially FPS which I’ve been playing for nearly 20 years now.

While I am an actor, I still would like to enjoy playing games with everyone.

Feel free to come and hang out with us, even if you are a first-timer.

We’ve also opened up our very first fan community subscription.

I would be very happy to become closer with everyone through our Discord as well as our stream.

With fun in mind, let’s meet here.”

Having initially released Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 4th, 2019, Apex Legends is a battle royale style first-person shooter in which squads of players fight on an ever-shrinking map to be the last squad standing. Fittingly, at the time of writing, Matsushima has done three live streams on his new OPENREC.tv channel, Shota Matsushima Channel, two of which have been centered on playing Apex Legends.

Shota Matsushima Channel was launched on March 5th and began streaming late March 10th in Japan. Below is the full length 30-second commercial Matsushima is featured in.
