Toei’s Japan-only YouTube channel, Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official, will be hosting every episode of Kamen Rider Drive.
Starting this past Saturday in Japan, Toei has begun uploading episodes of 2014’s Kamen Rider Drive to its Japan-restricted Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official channel. Much of the content on this channel, including Kamen Rider Drive, cannot be accessed outside Japan. As of now, the first two episodes are live.
Each episode will be available for one week with two episodes uploaded every Saturday in Japan. This will continue until the final episode is uploaded on October 30th, 2021.
Kamen Rider Drive follows the story of police detective Shinnosuke Tomari (played by Ryoma Takeuchi) who tragically failed to save his partner during the Global Freeze attack by the monstrous Roidmudes.
When Shinnosuke finds himself lacking in motivation, a mysterious talking belt grants him Kamen Rider gear and the Tridoron super car. This “Belt-san” (Mr. Belt) kicks Shinnosuke’s engine into top gear as he and his partner, Kirirko Shijima (played by Rio Uchida), pursue the Roidmudes with the help of their specialized police team.
