More than 1,000 English-speaking fans vote on their favorite tokusatsu franchise.

As the tokusatsu genre has expanded since it’s original inception in the 1950s, many franchises have become fan-favorites for those in and outside of Japan. We asked English-speaking fans of tokusatsu to vote on their favorite franchises with the top five being:

1. Kamen Rider (605 Votes)
2. Super Sentai (190 Votes)
3. Ultra Series (67 Votes)
4. Power Rangers (42 Votes)
5. Garo (40 Votes)
