Flashman, Zyuohger Voice Actor Passes Away at 67

Unsho Ishizuka’s agency has announced the actor has passed away at the age of 67.

The actor has a long history in the anime industry, with his first role coming in 1984 as the narrator in Giant Gorg. Some of his more iconic roles include Jet Black in Cowboy Bebop, Professor Oak in the Pokemon franchise, and Mr. Satan in the Dragon Ball series.

Tokusatsu fans might be familiar with his roles in Choshinsei Flashman as the main antagonist, Great Emperor Ra Deus and in Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger as Larry. He also voiced Perry White in the Japanese dubs of Man of Steel and Batman v Superman.
