Man Arrested For Death Threats Against Shigeki Hosokawa

The threats were made against Shigeki Hosokawa, who portrayed Hibiki/Kamen Rider Hibiki in the 2005 series, Kamen Rider Hibiki,via his blog.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested for posting “I have to cut your body into pieces” as well as other various comments on Shigeki Hosokawa’s blog.

Taiki Okada, a jobless resident of Nishinomiya in Hyogo prefecture, has been arrested for suspected threats.

According to investigators relating to the case, on March of this year, he was suspected of posting onto Shigeki Hosokawa’s official blog an advanced warning of murdering him, “I have to cut your body into pieces”.

At the end of March, Hosokawa’s lawyer consulted with the police department and last week filled a police report. Okada acknowledged the charges and commented “I wrote the comment to scare the actor, I wanted to get noticed”. The police department are looking into the possibility that he has repeated the offense in the past.
