Tetsuji Sakakibara & Akira Kubodera Cast in The Seven Deadly Sins Stage Play Adaptation

Actor of Uchū Sentai Kyūranger (Space Sentai Kyuranger) fame and actor of Kamen Rider Blade fame announced as characters for upcoming The Seven Deadly Sins stage play adaptation.


On April 3rd, the official website for the upcoming stage play adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins manga unveiled its main cast alongside a new visual for them.

The revealed cast is as follows: Takeru Naya (Himself in Seiyu’s Life!) as Meliodas, Minami Umezawa (Nogizaka46) as Elizabeth, Shōtarō Arisawa as Ban, Kasumi Hasegawa as Diane, Naoki Saitou as King, Ryō Kitamura (Saizou Kirigakure from Sengoku Night Blood) as Gowther, Bishin Kawasumi (Mamoru Koyama from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Special Operations Sentai Go-Busters]) as Howzer, Yūki Nomura as Griamore, Moka Kodama as Jericho, Junki Narasaka as Slader, Akira Kubodera (Kanai/Giraffa Undead from Kamen Rider Blade) as Helbram, Asami Tano (Sarah Kazuno from Love Live! Sunshine!!) as Guila, Teruma as Hendrickson, and Tetsuji Sakakibara (Spada/Kajiki Yellow from Uchū Sentai Kyūranger) as Gilthunder.

The Seven Deadly Sins stage play is being helmed by Nobuhiro Mōri (Black Butler) who is also the play’s scriptwriter.

The stage play is set to run from August 3rd to August 12th at The Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo, Japan, and from August 18th to August 20th at the Umeda Arts Theater Dramacity in Osaka, Japan.
