GARO Anime Season 2 Staff Updated
The Garo Project’s News Blog has been updated with the names of the director and writing team for the GARO anime’s second season.
The second season of the GARO anime, subtitled Crimson Moon, has just acquired a director in the form of Atsushi Wakabayashi. Wakabayashi has served as animation director for a plethora of anime including Naruto, Flame of Recca, and Yu Yu Hakusho, and was the head director of Guin Saga. Joining him on staff is story editor Sho Aikawa, known as for his work on Martian Successor Nadesico and Fullmetal Alchemist (2003), as well as Kamen Rider Blade and GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
The writing team consists of Takao Yoshioka (Watamote), Seishi Minakami (FMA: Brotherhood), Masaki Wachi (Kingdom), Shinichi Inotsume (JJBA), Shigeru Murakoshi (Knights of Sidonia), and is rounded out by Toshiki Inoue (Jetman, Agito).
As previously reported, GARO: Crimson Moon will take place during the Heian period of Japanese history, a departure from the first season’s European setting.
