A video showcasing a CGI Ultraman battling a CGI monster in downtown Shibuya was uploaded to Tsuburaya’s Youtube channel, titled “Ultraman n/a”. The video is region locked and features no description in the video information. Onscreen text gives the date “7.7” but no other details are known at the moment.

Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the Ultraman franchise and the latest show, Ultraman X, is streaming internationally with subtitles in multiple languages including English via the anime streaming service Crunchyroll. New episodes are available every Tuesday.

Tsuburaya Productions registered IPs for this as an “Ultraman series for adults” (they also registered an “Ultraman series for children”). This is for the 50th Anniversary of the original ULTRAMAN series and the July 7th date is the fictitious date of birth of Eiji Tsuburaya (really born on July 10th). The original ULTRAMAN’s first episode ran on July 17, 1966, with the preview special “Ultraman Is Born” running the week before on July 10th, which is why July 10th is considered “Ultraman Day” in Japan. I hope this helps!
