Takayuki Takeya to Design Kamen Rider Drive’s Roymudo

It has been announced that Takayuki Takeya will be the creature designer for Kamen Rider Drive.

Takeya, a regular collaborator of Keita Amemiya’s and contributor to the S.I.C. figure line, will be making his tokusatsu TV series debut with Kamen Rider Drive. Although this is his first full length tokusatsu series, Takeya has worked on various productions such as Kamen Rider ZO, Kamen Rider J, and Tekkoki Mikazuki.

In addition to his on screen work, Takeyuki has designed many of the hyper stylized designs seen in the S.I.C. line of figures. Takeyuki took part in designing the very first release, a take on the classic series, Jinzo Ningen Kikaider.

Upcoming work for Takeyuki includes designs for the live action Attack on Titan film. He has recently worked on Hideaki Anno’s Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo tokusatsu special.
