Kamen Rider Fourze’s Sota Fukushi to Star in Live Action Bleach Movie
A special announcement was made during the week of the manga’s finale.
The Bleach manga came to an end this week after 15 years and a special announcement teased earlier was revealed to be a live action movie with a 2018 release date.
Sota Fukushi, who played Kamen Rider Fourze / Gentaro Kisaragi in the 2012/13 series Kamen Rider Fourze, will star as Ichigo Kurosaki.
The story centers around a teenager who can see ghosts and is drawn into a battle against restless spirits as a temporary death god after one is injured saving his life.
Shinsuke Sato, director of the live action Gantz film as well as I Am a Hero and Death Note: Light up the New World, will direct.
No further details have been announced at this point.
