Power Morphicon Show Runner Announces Japan World Heroes Convention

Scott Zillner, show runner for the biennial Power Morphicon, announced an upcoming Japan World Heroes convention for 2017.

A banner adjacent to the Super Sentai guests at 2016’s Power Morphicon announced an upcoming convention specifically focused on Japanese tokusatsu heroes, appropriately named, Japan World Heroes.

Power Morphicon show runner, Scott Zillner, who also runs Robo Toy Fest and Brick Boutique, stated, “basically, this is a Japanese culture show. I want people to know there is more than just Power Rangers out there. There is a whole world of great entertainment and it’s available now. It’s not hidden like it used to be.”

As noted on the banner, currently confirmed guests include, Ultraman‘s Bin Furuya and Kenpachiro Satsuma, from the Heisei Godzilla films.

Zillner noted he hopes to also include Space Sheriff, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai actors as upcoming guests.

Japan World Heroes will be held August 18th to 20th 2017 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
