A new stage play based on the indie tokusatsu series Chrono Detective Wecker is set to launch next month.

Chrono Detective Wecker Revision: Christmas Ash (Jikū Keisatsu Wecker Kai Noel Cendre) will premiere next month in the Kitazawa Town Hall B1 floor within the Shimokitazawa suburb of Tokyo. The production will run for five days with eight different showings, running from April 23rd to the 27th.

Taking place close to Christmas at the St. Germain Girls school, the story follows Chrono Detectives Rin and Arisa. The two detectives have come from the future to protect the flow of time, but along the way they will have to choose between defending the flow of time and saving the lives of their loved ones as the so-called Noel Cendre day approaches.

Chrono Detective Arisa – Kato Satohona (reprising a role from the 2013 theater production Wecker 1983)
Chrono Detective Rin – Chi-chan
Chrono Detective Ptolemy – Kato Sayaka
Support Droid Al – Naabou Doufu Atto Nana
Yamane Ami – Simogaki Madoka
Usanagi Mikoto – Saito Ami
Hazama Misaki – Otomu Ayumu
Kuroda Sumi – Kaneda Sena
Oracle Mary – Matsumoto Aki

The production is directed by Ise Naohiro and written by Hatasawa Kazuya
