Fuuto PI Movie “The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull” Announced
A Fuuto PI movie “The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull” has been announced. The movie will be screened in Japan for a limited time from November 8, 2024, and a portion of the movie will be screened during Anime Expo on July 6, 2024.

On June 30, a Fuuto PI sequel movie was announced. The movie, titled “The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull” (Japanese: 風都探偵 仮面ライダースカルの肖像) takes place after the anime’s first season but will primarily depict past events, following private detective Sokichi Narumi until Begins Night, Kamen Rider W’s origin event. Based on the trailer, the movie looks to cover the “Portrait of S (ｓの肖像)” arc of the Fuuto PI manga (chapters 47-55).
Kenjiro Tsuda
The main cast of the anime will all reprise their roles, but also joining them will be Kenjiro Tsuda voicing Sokichi Narumi / Kamen Rider Skull. Tsuda is a popular voice actor and no stranger to tokusatsu having lent his voice to Redyue in Kamen Rider Gaim, the Demons Driver Belt in Kamen Rider Revice, and Zarab in Shin Ultraman to name a few.
The movie is scheduled for limited screenings in Japan starting November 8, but Studio KAI, who will be animating the movie, will be previewing the first 20 minutes during a panel on July 6 at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California, USA. Yosuke Kabashima, the director of the anime series and the movie, is also scheduled to appear.
