Bandai confirmed your wallet does not belong to you in a surprise announcement, and “Sentai’s next. You will not escape.”
In a shocking announcement early on April 1st, 2023, Bandai has revealed its plan for the future of Kamen Rider belts via its Japan-exclusive storefront which hosted a short video live stream. Bandai simultaneously streamed a message to its international audience- a voice recording on loop which said “We’ve destroyed your VPN services. Good luck buying toys, now.”
Following the live stream, John Toei posted the following comment to Twitter:
“We loved the response to our Reiwa-era toy strategy so much that we will be introducing new characters with new transformation devices every single week until the Earth stops spinning. In the end, there will only be Kamen Riders.”
Unexpectedly, Bandai’s head of production responded with an argument:
“Only Kamen Riders? That’s not true. We’re also planning to flood the market with so much Super Sentai merchandise that the next villain will be composed of plastic cell phones, swords, and Bop-Its from the sea!”
This situation is still developing, and Team TokuNot will bring readers as much coverage as possible on Bandai and Toei’s sudden turn to complete villainy.
