On January 17, Ruka Matsuda of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid announced she had tested positive for COVID-19.

Ruka Matsuda, known for her role as Asuna Karino (also known as Poppy Pipopapo / Kamen Rider Poppy) in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is confirmed to have COVID-19. The announcement was published on her Instagram page by her agency Grick Company on January 17, a day after she began showing symptoms.
