An upcoming Ultraman live event in Tokyo will star Ultraman Tiga.

The Ultraman live event series continues next month with “Ultraman TDG The Live: Ultraman Tiga’s Story” in Tokyo’s Hakuhinkan Theater. Previous live shows in the series included stories starring Ultraman, Ultraman Taro, and Zoffy.

The story of this performance according to Tsuburaya is as follows:

“From the darkness, a man claiming to be a prophet appears and causes the “Gates of Hell” to appear in front Earth’s guardian, Ultraman Tiga. In accordance to his prophecy, the darkness blankets the sky and monsters revive. When darkness envelops the world, Tiga is in the worst of situations! Trapped in the Gates of Hell, Tiga is reminded of how he was called the greatest warrior of darkness, of all of his past faults, and Tiga loses his heart to the power of darkness. However, connected by their bonds, warriors of light arrive to save him! Will Ultraman Tiga be able to overcome his past? Will he able to grasp the future? And just what is the prophet’s true objective…?”

The show will feature appearances by Ultraman Dyna, Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Zero, and Ultraman Z.
