Additional Touksatsu Actors Join Winter Touken Ranbu Stage Show

Hiroki Suzuki of Juken Sentai Gekiranger and Nobuo Kyo of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger will join the cast of Touken Ranbu: Siege of Osaka.

Two additional tokusatsu actors will join the cast of the upcoming Touken Ranbu: Siege of Osaka stage show. Hiroki Suzuki (Jan Kandou/GekiRed in Juken Sentai Gekiranger) and Nobuo Kyo (Isshuu Kasumi/KuwagaRaiger in Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger) will star alongside fellow tokusatsu alumni You Maejima and Ryo Matsuda in the show’s Winter Campaign.

Both actors will play real-life figures from Japanese history. Hiroki Suzuki will play Yukimura Sanada, a samurai warrior from the Sengoku period and a leading general in the Siege of Osaka. Nobuo Kyo will play Harunaga Ono, a general under Hideyori Toyotomi during the siege.

The first in-costume images of You Maejima (Chihiro in Kamen Rider Amazons) as Namazuo Toushirou and Ryo Matsuda (Hideyasu Jonouchi in Kamen Rider Gaim) as Kashuu Kiyomitsu have also been released.

Siege of Osaka is the seventh stage adaptation based on the online web browser game Touken Ranbu by DMM and Nitroplus.

The Winter Campaign will take place from January to March 2021 at the IHI Stage Around Tokyo. A second show, the Summer Campaign, will take place from April to June 2021.

Ticket sales begin on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the show’s official website.
