Ultraman Z Sevenger Figure Announced

Premium Bandai announced their latest Ultra Series figure release, the Shining! Rumbling! Special Airborne Armor 1 Sevenger figure from Ultraman Z. 

Shining! Rumbling! Special Airborne Armor 1 Sevenger figure features an accurately detailed replicate of the infamous Sevenger robot from the TV series. Tsuburaya’s official molding team, Light Sculpture Studio, was involved in making this figure like all other Ultra Series figure releases. The figure has over 20 areas of articulation and even presents diecast ankle and chest parts. Sevenger’s eyes light up through a built in LED yellow light.

His facial expressions can be swapped with the four included facial expression parts. Sevenger’s special move, the “Rigid Core Iron Fist Rocket”, can be recreated by pressing a switch on his right arm which will launch his fist. His back battery pack can be restored with either the fully charged (blue) or zero charge (red) packs. A voice button on his back will activate the STORAGE AI’s voice (portrayed by Katsumi Fukuhara). This voice announces Sevenger’s actions as well as play a myriad of sound effects.

In addition, it also has an “Activity Time Measurement Mode” that measures Sevenger’s activity for three minutes. Just like the TV series, it will also announce when those three minutes have ended. Lastly, this figure will feature more than 50 voice recordings, including Haruki Natsukawa (portrayed by Kohshu Hirano) and Yoko Nakashima (portrayed by Rima Matsuda). The switch on the back will alternate between the two pilots. This is a Premium web exclusive set.

The Shining! Rumbling! Special Airborne Armor 1 Sevenger figure from Ultraman Z will go for 9,900 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in March 2021. Preorders are being accepted until November 30, 2020, at 23:00 JST.
