Kamen Rider Kabuto’s Yasukiyo Umeno Passes Away

The actor who portrayed Jiiya in Kamen Rider Kabuto has passed away at 87.

On September 1st, it was announced that longtime actor Yasukiyo Umeno had passed away due to old age.

Having been in the industry since 1954, Umeno had an impressive repertoire and acted in many roles from the screen to the stage. Fans will recognize him as Jiiyo, the Kamishiro family butler, from Kamen Rider Kabuto.

The announcement states that Umeno passed on August 25th at the age of 87, the family held a private funeral on August 30th. His final appearance acting was in 2013.
