Kamen Rider Alum Kouhei Takeda Leaves Talent Agency

Kouhei Takeda has announced he left A.L.C. Atlantis on April 1st.

Kouhei Takeda, well known for playing key characters in Kamen Rider Kiva and Kamen Rider Build, ended a two-year partnership with his entertainment agency, A.L.C. Atlantis, with the conclusion of his contract on April 1st. Currently, he is now in a contract under Central Corporation.

This news came in an Instagram post made by Takeda about one week ago, which explained the following:

“I would like to inform everyone.

With the expiration of the contract with A.L.C Atlantis, which has taken care of me for many years, I will be part of Central Corporation starting from April 1st.

I am grateful to those who have supported me up until now.

Sincerely,

Kouhei Takeda”

Takeda is one of few actors to portray more than one main character in different Kamen Rider shows. As Wataru Kurenai / Kamen Rider Kiva’s father, Otoya Kurenai, Takeda would transform into Kamen Rider Ixa using the prototype equipment from 1986.

Later, Takeda would portray Kamen Rider Grease: a hero who fights to protect his home with three friends who transformed into upgraded Smash. Kazumi would later learn that Sento Kiryu was fighting for more than his home and join forces for his cause, love and peace, and to reunite a divided Japan.
