Botanical Force Skincare Creates Original Sentai Team For Ad

Five of the top Japanese voice actors will provide voices for audio dramas to promote skincare line.

To promote their line of skincare products, Japanese cosmetics company FANCL has created a fictional team of five handsome young men who become “Plant Sentai Botanical Force,” which you can check out a teaser for in the video below. Each member of the group is meant to be an anthropomorphic version of an item from the line. Providing the voices for the five members of the team are Takuma Terashima (voice of Ultraman Taiga) as the Red hero, Yoshimasa Hosoya (Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia) as the brainy Blue hero, Junichi Suwabe (Eraserhead in My Hero Academia) as the elder Green hero, Ryohei Kimura (Shinjiro Hayata in Netflix’s ULTRAMAN) as the mood-setting Yellow hero, and Shouta Aoi (Protagonist in Persona 3: The Weird Masquerade) as the younger Pink hero.

When customers purchase any product from the line, an original voice drama will be given as a gift. There are five types of love stories in which each character appears as the protagonist, with the goal being to collect all five. In each drama, the Botanical Force team must work to defeat the evil organization known as the Gagagasa Empire using the power of plants and protect the peace of good skin, as well as try to win the heart of the same girl.
