Tokusatsu Actors Share Positive Messages Online During Coronavirus Pandemic
Tokusatsu actors are sharing positive messages on Twitter to cheer up children during the coronavirus pandemic.
Right now, the coronavirus pandemic is causing havoc around the world with over 50,000 confirmed COVID-19-related deaths, worldwide. Last week, Rio Komiya (Juru Atsuta/KiramaRed) was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19, and many Super Sentai alumni were sharing messages online in support of him. Now, Komiya’s condition has improved, but Japan is preparing for more cases with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe declaring a state of emergency. In order to offer their support to children who may have trouble dealing with the current state of the world, more tokusatsu actors are posting messages on Twitter using the hashtag #ヒーローが子供達を元気にする translated as “Heroes Cheer Up Kids”.
