Premium Bandai Announces Kamen Rider Zero One & Heisei Kamen Rider x EPSON Smart Canvas Watches

Premium Bandai announced the latest products in their EPSON collaboration, the Kamen Rider Zero One & Heisei Kamen Rider x EPSON Smart Canvas watches

This collaboration is between “Kamen Rider Zero One & Heisei Kamen Rider series” and “Smart Canvas”, an Epson graphic watch popular with young people with the theme of “time travel”. The fun scene of Kamen Rider Zero One and Heisei Kamen Riders is displayed every hour under the concept of “Play with Kamen Rider.”

Also, original illustrations of successive Kamen Riders on public holidays and anniversaries is displayed, and the anniversary date for each character of Kamen Rider, such as Kamen Rider Zi-O = Anniversary of Time (June 10) and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid = Emergency Day (September 9). The desktop mode is a mode that can be enjoyed while working on a desk.

There is also a temperature display where the character changes according to the temperature and a birthday setting that makes the characters celebrate a special day once a year. There are over 70 types of graphics. You can enjoy 24 hours a day and 365 days a year with a variety of fun graphics.

Each mode can be changed by button operation according to the scene. There are also two types of watch belt designs: “Masked Rider Zero One Character Pattern” with cute Kamen Rider Zero One deformation and “Masked Rider Zero One & Heisei Kamen Rider Pattern” which is easy to use in monotone (Note: The watch itself is the same).

Because the display part of the smart canvas uses electronic paper, it has the same high resolution as printing and does not use a backlight, making it easy to see even in sunlight. The ability to store many high-definition depictions on a small board is a technique that can only be done with a smart canvas. Even with a band, it is safe for everyday use because it has a waterproof design with a lightweight design of about 50g.

The back of the watch case cover is made of stainless steel while the band is made of synthetic leather. The watches measure 38.3mm in width, 39.4mm in height, and 8.66mm in thickness. It is compatible with arms the  circumference size of maximum: 19cm and minimum: 13.5cm (with 11 holes for length adjustment).

The Kamen Rider Zero One & Heisei Kamen Rider x EPSON smart canvas watches will go for ¥31,900 (tax included) each and is scheduled for shipment in April 2020. Preorders are being accepted until January 28, 2020, at 23:00 JST.
