Super Sentai Legend History Exhibit Announced

An exhibit celebrating 43 years of Super Sentai is set to open next month.

Earlier this week, Toei Productions announced the Super Sentai Legend History exhibit, a retrospective look at the long running Super Sentai franchise. Fans will be able to look into the workings of how Super Sentai started in 1975 with Himitsu Sentai Goranger and how it came to be produced. Set to open at the Yokohama Information Cultural Center’ Broadcast Library from December 13 to February 16, the exhibit will be open most days except holidays and admission is free to the public.

The exhibit boasts quite a few treats for fans of the series, touting more than 100 props and mecha suits from the various series to be shown on display, as well as scripts from all 43 series, as well as a diorama of miniature sets used in the filming of Lupinranger vs Patranger. A special attraction for the exhibit will be the original first draft script for the pilot of Himitsu Sentai Goranger. Patrons will have the chance to get photo ops with the heroes from the currently airing Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger as well as a variety of other Red heroes.

One of the most notable attractions to the exhibit will be the Super Sentai Legend Theater, which consists of 60 specially curated episodes from across the 44 years of the franchise to be shown on a rotating schedule. The schedule, which is broken down by A,B,C,D and E Program, is as follows below.
