Mahou Sentai Magiranger WolzaPhone – Memorial Edition – Announced

Following the release of the Magiranger MagiPhone -MEMORIAL EDITION-, Premium Bandai announces the newest edition to the memorial series, the Black Magic Cellphone WolzaPhone -MEMORIAL EDITION- from Mahou Sentai Magiranger.

The Black Magic Cellphone WolzaPhone is one of Wolzard’s many methods of spellcasting. It is nearly identical to the MagiPhone in design except lacking the “M” insignia, replaced with sharp “W”s, similar to the golden “W” seen on Wolzard’s chestplate.

This version of the WolzaPhone recognizes over 30 spells from the TV series and activates with its corresponding sounds. The spells can be activated using the numeric keypad, just like Wolzard uses in the TV series. Spells can also be activated by pressing the wand deployment button.

This version allows for playback of memorable lines from the series by using recorded lines from Tsutomu Isobe, the original voice actor for Wolzard. This includes the spells which allows for a more authentic spell casting experience. Beside the system itself, Isobe also recorded new lines as Wolzard, allowing the user to playback memorable lines from the TV series.

The design and appearance of the item have been updated to match the one seen in the TV series. It features three modes: Mobile Mode, Phone Mode, and Wand Mode. Also, the display parts have been changed from paper (used in the DX version) to plastic (used in the Magiphone – Memorial Edition). Two songs related to Wolzard can be played as background music, thus enhancing the role play experience. The WolzaPhone in wand mode measures approx. H 280mm x W 60mm x D 35mm and requires two AAA batteries (sold separately).

The Mahou Sentai Magiranger WolzaPhone -MEMORIAL EDITION- from Mahou Sentai Magiranger will go for 16,500 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in September 2026. Preorders are being accepted until Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 23:00 JST.
