Episodes 35 and 36 of Zi-O will feature content from Kamen Rider Kiva. Kenji Matsuda and Yu Takahashi both return to the franchise for the first time in a decade – Matsuda played the role of Zanki in Kamen Rider Hibiki, then went on to portray Garulu/Jiro in Kamen Rider Kiva. Meanwhile, Takahashi played Yuri Aso, who acted as a love interest for Otoya Kurenai.
Yumiko Shaku has also been confirmed as a new character appearing in the arc. Her filmography includes many TV dramas, along with playing the love interest in the official parody Kamen Rider G.
Finally, the arc will also feature the debut of Kamen Rider Ginga, another Rider from the future. Toei previously revealed Ginga on April 1st, but it is no joke. Ginga will apparently be given a voice-only role by Tomokazu Sugita – he is best known to Kamen Rider fans as the voice of Kivat in Kamen Rider Kiva, but he has also been the voice of the titular hero of Ultraman Ginga. Much like the previous future Riders, Sugito has also been featured in Super Sentai, but only as voice-only roles for monsters.
