Power Morphicon Express announced that Shinji Nishikawa will be a featured guest at the first Power Morphicon Express.

Power Morphicon Express was announced following Power Morphicon 2018. Power Morphicon Express is meant to bring the experience of Power Morphicon to cities across the United States. Last month, Yūta Mochizuka (Geki/TyrannoRanger) and Reiko Chiba (Mei/PteraRanger) were confirmed for guest appearances at the convention’s first stop in Pasadena, Texas. Now, Shinji Nishikawa has also been announced as a guest.

Nishikawa is most known for his work on monster designs in the Godzilla and Ultraman franchises. Some notable movies he’s worked on include Godzilla: 2000Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S., and Godzilla: Final Wars. In addition, he’s also worked on design for TV shows like the live-action Choseishin GranSazer. Most recently, Nishikawa worked on the monster designs for the tokusatsu-inspired Studio Trigger anime, SSSS.Gridman.

Fans of Nishikawa’s work will have the chance to meet him at Power Morphicon Express which runs from April 6th-7th, 2019. Tickets went on sale last month and can be purchased here.
