Crunchyroll Drops Various Ultraman Series

Starting in mid October, Crunchyroll will be dropping several of its Ultraman offerings from its streaming service.

Crunchyroll is a site that specializes in Japanese media, and has offered several titles from the Ultraman franchise. However, due to licensing reasons, several of these titles will be dropped on October 14th 2018. Among them are Ultraman LeoUltraman 80, Ultraman Max and Ultraman Mebius.

Although Ultraman X is confirmed to remain unharmed in this removal, no comment was made regarding Ultraman Orb or Ultraman Geed.

I’m calling it, Netflix got the rights to air the Ultraman seasons, including the new anime and R/B.

Wouldn’t that be awesome? Plus, there’s the prospect of creating original series for Netflix, without Bandai toy execs breathing down their necks.
