CSM Henshin Belt Arcle Contents Revealed

Details have been made available on the Complete Selection Modification release for Kamen Rider Kuuga.

The CSM Henshin Belt Arcle is the transformation belt associated with the titular hero of Kamen Rider Kuuga, and was modified from the design of the 2007 Complete Selection release. Pressing one of the four colored buttons will allow you to choose one of Kuuga’s four main forms – an infrared sensor inside will activate the transformation standby, then pressing the button on the side buckle activates transformation sounds. The central part of the belt features rotating parts that emit and reflect light.

Included with it are alternate parts to represent the way the belt looks in Kuuga’s Ultimate Form. All together, it has 11 transformation sounds which were used during Kamen Rider Kuuga‘s run, and the Rising Ultimate Form used in 2009’s Kamen Rider Decade.

Using the D Mode switch, it can also be set to play the sounds associated with the original DX Henshin Belt Arcle toy from 2000, which were used for the version of Kuuga featured in Kamen Rider Decade.

By pressing the BGM button, one of the following background music samples can be triggered:

  • “Warrior”
  • “Shivering”
  • “Fierce Battle”
  • “Hero”
  • “Turnover”
  • “Corruption”
  • “Intermission”
  • Snowstorm sound effect (Relates to Kuuga’s final battle)

The most notable inclusion with this release is a toy replica of the mobile phone used by Kaoru Ichijo, the police officer who aids Kuuga in the show. By pressing any number, it plays a line of dialogue from the character. This is newly recorded audio by his actor, Shingo Katsurayama.

The set is available for pre-order until November 19th for ¥27,000 and is expected to ship in April 2019.
