Kamen Rider Gaim Co-Stars Reunite in Upcoming Film

Gaku Sano and Yuki Kubota will star together in Futatsu no Kino To Boku No Mirai.

For the first time in years, two Kamen Rider Gaim veterans will be acting with one another again. Gaku Sano, who portrayed Kouta Kazuraba will be starring in the upcoming film Futatsu no Kino To Boku No Mirai, as the lead role. He plays a man named Kaito, who is a runner hoping to compete in the Olympics. In Kamen Rider Gaim, he played the title character of Kamen Rider Gaim. He most recently reprised his role in Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Final: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Rider alongside other Kamen Rider alumni.

Yuki Kubota will also play a role in the film, named Kurokawa. It is currently unknown what role he will play in the story. Kubota previously played Takatora Kureshima in Kamen Rider Gaim and fought as Kamen Rider Zangetsu. He most recently played the older brother to Stinger in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger, named Scorpio. He was also in Garo: Soukoku no Maryu as Kakashi.

The plot of the story follows Sano’s character, Kaito, through his journey to become an Olympic runner, and what happens when his girlfriend suddenly breaks up with him, interrupting his dream. He goes on to help others by becoming a guide in a dense forest, but is forced to seek shelter during a heavy rain. There, he learns that there are parallel worlds, where his dream of becoming an Olympic runner may come true.
