Redman Comic Series’ First Volume Available for Purchase

The series from Matt Frank and Goncalo Lopes is expected to ship its first volume June 2018.

A comic series based on Redman, the Tsuburaya Productions’ character who appeared in the short mini-series “Redman” during the 70s has had its first volume listed for purchase. The first volume will retail for $18.99. Also available is a collectible pin set featuring Redman and the monster Astron, limited to 250 sets.

The comic’s website describes the first volume as

Redman: The Kaiju Hunter Volume 1 Graphic Novel. This 128 page full color story spotlight the adventure of Redman and his quest to rid the world of any and all Kaiju. This is not the hero you will be expecting but its the hero you will want!

Although the character has been around for quite some time, Redman saw a resurgence of popularity in 2016 after its episodes were streamed via the Tsuburaya Youtube channel and users began to notice the hero’s violent tendencies.
