Moonlight Mask, Super Robot Red Baron Anniversary Event Announced

Joint celebration of the 60th and 45th anniversaries of Moonlight Mask and Super Robot Red Baron announced.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Moonlight Mask (Gekko Kamen) as well as the 45th anniversary of Super Robot Red Baron this year, a joint event entitled the Red and White TV Hero Retrospective Exhibition has been announced.

The event will take place from May 10th to May 30th, 2018 at the Hakaba Gallery at Nakano Broadway. Admission is free to the public. Limited edition collectibles ranging from stationary to clothing will be sold for each of the respective series and will only be available for the duration of the event. Photo opportunities will also be offered. More festivities will be announced as the event draws near.

Moonlight Mask debuted in 1958 and is considered the forerunner of the TV superhero genre in Japan. Super Robot Red Baron, which debuted in 1973, is available in its entirety on DVD from Mill Creek Entertainment.
