Television network TOKU to premiere Gridman on December 18th, at 7:00 PM ET.

The official YouTube channel for the television network TOKU, a 24-hour network owned by Olympusat dedicated to broadcasting anime and Asian live-action programming, has recently announced what will be coming to their roster this upcoming December. Among these December premieres is Gridman, more properly known as Denkou Choujin Gridman; it is a tokusatsu series by Tsuburaya Productions (Ultra franchise).

Gridman will premiere on December 18th, 2017, at 7 PM ET.

The story of Gridman is as follows:

Three computer-savvy kids, Naoto, Yuka and Ippei create their own videogame super-hero, but then discover it possessed by an inter-dimensional police officer, Gridman. Pursuing an evil program called Kahn Digifer, he merges with Naoto and fights Kahn Digifer’s digitized monsters (created by social misfit Takeshi) in order to prevent the computerized demon from wreaking havoc on the Human World.

As previously reported,  Tsuburaya Productions is releasing a Blu-ray box set for Gridman, which contains 7 disks with all 39 episodes. It also includes a special leaflet and extra bonuses like a non-credit OP and ED. The release date for the box set is December 20th, 2017 and will cost ¥32,900 (tax included).
