Junya Ikeda, Masahiro Inoue, and Tsunenori Aoki Return for Garo: Kami no Kiba
GARO Project has revealed additional cast members for the upcoming GARO: Kami no Kiba film.
Junya Ikeda and Tsunenori Aoki, who portrayed Takeru Jakuzure/Zen the Flame Sword Knight and Aguri Kusugami/Gai the Sky Bow Knight in GARO: Yami wo Terasu Mono as well as Masahiro Inoue, who portrayed Zinga in GARO – Gold Storm will return to their roles for the film.
Set to premiere in 2018, GARO: Kami no Kiba will feature Ryuga Dougai wielding the power of the Golden Knight, Garo once more and will be directed by GARO creator Keita Amemiya.
Wataru Kuriyama expressed his feelings on portraying Ryuga once more: “When I received the script, I knew I did everything I could do as Ryuga, everything in the series would reach its pinnacle. The familiar family feeling returned as so many of the cast and staff from The One Who Shines in Darkness worked on this movie.”
Keita Amemiya will act as supervisory director while Makoto Yokoyama will act as action director.
The film will open at Shinjuku Wald 9’s cinema next year, with other cinemas following it.
