Various K-Pop Stars Feature in Dino Force Brave/Kyoryuger Brave Cast

Power Rangers Dino Force Brave, also known as Kyoryuger Brave, will premiere first in South Korea.


A production team boasting Toei and Korean staff members have come together to create an original sequel to Kyoryuger featuring a Korean cast. The show’s Japanese title is Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave.

The “father” of Kyoryuger, Koichi Sakamoto, has returned to work on the series as director.

The cast features multiple K-Pop stars, including Kim Seyong of MYNAME as the new KyoryuRed/Red Dino, Oh Sehyun of Apeace as the new KyoryuBlue/Blue Dino, Hong Sungho of Apeace as the new KyoryuBlack/Black Dino, Lee In Jun of the band The Boss as the new KyoryuGreen/Green Dino, and Lee Seyoung of CROSS GENE as the new KyoryuGold/Gold Dino. The new KyoryuPink/Pink Dino will be portrayed by Lee Yoo Jin.

Character descriptions were also given:

Brave Red Dino is described as the “dragon child”, the successor to the power of the dinosaurs who has inherited the power of bravery and is a trustworthy leader.
Brave Blue Dino is called a “handsome boy” who is characterized by his athletic ability as well as his beautiful and clean fighting style.
Brave Black Dino is described as being the strictest member of the team who also possesses a great and kind heart.
Brave Green Dino is described as having a “cute little brother” image that people just can’t seem to hate, even if he solves his problems with his family’s money.
Brave Pink Dino is kind and caring but can also be very selfish.
Brave Gold Dino is a very mysterious warrior who works with the others while distancing himself from them.

The new ending and opening were also played for the crowd during the conference.

The show will begin its broadcast in South Korean on April 1st with two episodes a week for the first two weeks before moving to one episode a week starting April 15th. The series series will run for 12 episodes at 15 minutes each. The official Japanese website will open in mid-March.

    I’m genuinely curious to see how this turns out…I liked kyuryuger good enough, would not mind to see more xD
