Late Effects Producer Yasuyuki Inoue’s Work to be Featured in Special Exhibit

Ebina Civic Art Gallery to feature work from Toho Special Effects producer Yasuyuki Inoue from March 25th to April 2nd.


The Ebina Civic Art Gallery, located in Ebina, Japan, will be featuring art created by the late Toho special effects producer Yasuyuki Inoue.  Inoue’s large body of miniature work has been featured in such films as Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs. Gigan, and Terror of Mechagodzilla.  Inoue passed away in 2012.

The Yasuyuki Inoue exhibit has free admission to the public from March 25th to April 2nd.  The exhibit will also feature a film screening of The Return of Godzilla at 12 PM on March 25th for 500 yen admission.

The screening will feature a guest speech by production designer Toshio Miike, and comes with a gift of a commemorative refrigerator magnet as the entrance ticket.
