BOOM! Studios Announces 2017 Power Rangers Movie Graphic Novel
Publisher, BOOM! Studios announces an upcoming graphic novel sequel to the upcoming 2017 Power Rangers film.
Titled Power Rangers: Aftershock, the upcoming graphic novel picks up where the feature film leaves off, continuing the adventures of Jason, Kimberly, Trini, Zack, and Billy; and will be released on March 29, 2017, about week after the movie’s premiere on March 24th.
The graphic novel will be in full-color, 96 pages, and written by Ryan Parrot (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Batman: Gates of Gotham) and illustrated by Lucas Werneck.
It will have two cover variations, a movie cover available for pre-order from book stores and an exclusive illustrated cover by Moon Knight‘s Greg Smallwood, which will be available for pre-order through specialty comic book shops.

Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston as Zordon, Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, Dacre Montgomery as Jason, RJ Cyler as Billy, Naomi Scott as Kimberly, Becky G as Trini, and Ludi Lin as Zack. The film is directed by Project Almanac’s Dean Isrealite.
BOOM! Studios Power Rangers on-going series, written by Kyle Higgins, released in March of 2016 continues to garner critical acclaim as well as its limited spin-off Pink Ranger series, written by Brenden Fletcher and Kelly Thompson, which released in May 2016.
