Yamato’s life is on the life as the Zyuohgers make a trade with Bangrey in Episode 35 of Zyuohgers: The Final Day of the Zyuohgers.

Bangrey demands Cube Whale in exchange for Yamato’s life, telling them that they need to sacrifice one for the other. Yamato tells them not to bring it under any circumstance. The team do not believe Bangrey’s words and want to leave the Cube behind but end up bringing it.

Just as predicted, Bangrey is not willing to let Yamato go and together with Cubal, he has something terrible planned.
